Dogs and Children

Written by fim

Recent post by Kathe Kollwitz from A Solixta Blog where there is an events in the UK have fuelled the debate over dogs and children. The death of a five month old baby after being attacked by two Rottweilers has saddened and shocked everybody and our thoughts go out to that poor family. Here, she did put some advise and tips on how to keep the dogs and children safe. Below is the Four-year-old Sophie Willis needed 20 stitches after being attacked by her father’s new rottweiler.

But, after reading all the tips, clearly I’ve seen that this only applicable to adult of children that already in primary schoold where they can think.

But what happen is a young todler that still below 7years old? They still immature and can help to think clearly of the safety. Here in Malaysia, Wild dogs is everywhere. Eventhough I live in Kuala Lumpur, the main city of Malaysia, we can’t help but noticing the will dogs is everywhere.

There is one event where the municipal council have no choice but to create a ‘wild dog hunting campaign’  and reward to the public who catche these wild dogs. What I’m suprise is, this campaign had alarm lot of NGO and animal lover organization. They do picket at the municipal council office demanding to STOP ‘hunting’ for this wild dogs – even there are cases here in KL toddler being beaten by the wild dogs.

For this NGOs it is not humanitarian to hunt and capture this wild dogs. But, for me, safety of my child still my priority. Dogs should have owner that clearly must responsible for their pet. If the owner can’t control their own pet, just don’t keep one because, by keeping one you just threaten your neighbor safety. For wild dog, if this NGO don’t want to keep this wild dogs at their home, just simply don’t interfere with the municipal council’s intention to make the neighborhood a safe place to live. These NGOs and animal lovers sometime they just don’t adequate enough knowledge and blindly fight for something they believe. We just have to be mature and knowledgable for what we do, why we do if we do, what will happen. By believing something without see the consequences this is not clever.

Come to think of it, do you still need a dog in your house?

Camera Manual and Features

Written by fim

Hi there,

Digital camera is like all other gadget. Like Hand phone and PC. This little gadget are differ from quality and features. People tend to like more for the appearance without knowing what the ins and out of the little gadget that they own.

I always came across people who don’t know about their own handphone. Why? From my experience they just simply do not even like to open the manual provided.

This same goes with digital camera. Digital camera came with a lot, a lot of features that will help the user to take nice picture and technology are meant to make life more easier.

We, as the user, we must take effort in opening the manual, try step-by-step all the features provided in the came. Afterall, the cost of the camera is closely related to the feature that this camera have. So, after paying so much for that, we simply use the 1/10 features provided because of the laziness in opening the manual.

Trust me, by spending few minutes opening the manual and clearly understand the features, the love and appreciate feeling to the thing that we bought are even bigger. Get down and try for your self, nobody going to scold you if you make a mistake. People learn from mistake. And this will make you life easier when you are on the field.

Beginner’s Must Practice This Habits Always

Written by fim

Hi there,

One good thing about digital photography is, you can take as much picture ac you like.

Like in the old days when we use normal 3mm film, when there is no digital camera – one must carefully take photo as every shot are counted.

When i was in the photography course, one thing i always remember is to take few shot of the same object. Every shot I must record the setting. After sent the film to process, I will open back my record and compare the result. By doing this, I always improved my shot and get a better picture. The problem arise those days were, this would cost the photographer a lot of money.

Thanks for the digital world. All picture taken are easily quick view and you can choose the nicest picture to be print.

But, what happen right now is, those picture, as times goes by will accumulate and become dust in your pc.

Picture being taken everyday, being uploaded everyday and people tend to have the kind of ‘procrastination’ habit toward digital picture. This ‘postponed’ habit will soon accumulate thousand of picture in your PC.

Here are the simple tips that will help us finding a nice children photograph.

First and foremost, a large digital camera screen make life more easier. Then, one should always practice to edit the day’s picture stored in the camera.

Say like you on holiday in bangkok, 9am in the morning you and your family will go out in the city and back to hotel at 7pm in the evening. Later at night when all everyone in in the relaxed mood, open back your camera and start to see all picture taken for that day. How many was taken and how is the quality of those picture. A fast editing inside the digital camera will ensure that you only uploaded a good picture into your laptop.

I’m hardly came across normal people like me who like to spend time editing their digital picture inside their PC using special software like Photoshop or Corel Draw or other more advance graphic software.

This is why i recommend you just edit and delete picture that you don’t want inside your digital camera.

For me, I will take a lot of picture, simply took few times of a same object so that later i will delete to worst and save the best.

And, one thing for sure, to play saved, when i was in holiday i will always ask other people to take my family picture few time – minimum is 3 times so that at the end of the day i have at least one good picture.
