Written by fim

Recently in Me Ra Koh blog, she posted a very nice baby photo.

One good tips for people who want to have a very nice baby photo. The tips is, you just have to have a lot of  patience. Photography teach us to be patience. But, to get a nice and lovely baby picture, you just have to have alot of patience as the baby have a very short concentration and a baby just simply amazing.

I’ve tried several photo shot, for this particular one, i’ve taken almost 7 times and this is the best.

Problem that i face are,

1) the baby will look elsewhere

2) lost focus , the image become blur

Try to match your perfect aperture and shutter speed to the the best picture.

Anymore tips?

Beginner’s Must Practice This Habits Always

Written by fim

Hi there,

One good thing about digital photography is, you can take as much picture ac you like.

Like in the old days when we use normal 3mm film, when there is no digital camera – one must carefully take photo as every shot are counted.

When i was in the photography course, one thing i always remember is to take few shot of the same object. Every shot I must record the setting. After sent the film to process, I will open back my record and compare the result. By doing this, I always improved my shot and get a better picture. The problem arise those days were, this would cost the photographer a lot of money.

Thanks for the digital world. All picture taken are easily quick view and you can choose the nicest picture to be print.

But, what happen right now is, those picture, as times goes by will accumulate and become dust in your pc.

Picture being taken everyday, being uploaded everyday and people tend to have the kind of ‘procrastination’ habit toward digital picture. This ‘postponed’ habit will soon accumulate thousand of picture in your PC.

Here are the simple tips that will help us finding a nice children photograph.

First and foremost, a large digital camera screen make life more easier. Then, one should always practice to edit the day’s picture stored in the camera.

Say like you on holiday in bangkok, 9am in the morning you and your family will go out in the city and back to hotel at 7pm in the evening. Later at night when all everyone in in the relaxed mood, open back your camera and start to see all picture taken for that day. How many was taken and how is the quality of those picture. A fast editing inside the digital camera will ensure that you only uploaded a good picture into your laptop.

I’m hardly came across normal people like me who like to spend time editing their digital picture inside their PC using special software like Photoshop or Corel Draw or other more advance graphic software.

This is why i recommend you just edit and delete picture that you don’t want inside your digital camera.

For me, I will take a lot of picture, simply took few times of a same object so that later i will delete to worst and save the best.

And, one thing for sure, to play saved, when i was in holiday i will always ask other people to take my family picture few time – minimum is 3 times so that at the end of the day i have at least one good picture.

2nd Beginner’s Guide in Taking Children Photography

Written by fim

Hi,

Previously, I’ve talked about the ‘initialization period’ about digital camera. So, today i go more about choosing the right camera in order to capture nice children photography.

Have you tried to take photograph of a child using your camera phone? Do, you notice to lagging (delay) in between you click and the picture that your phone captured and saved in the memory?

Say like a very simple event – You tried to capture the very right moment of a person drinking their tea (when the cup pouring into the person mouth). From the start that person raised his hand holding the cup until his pour he cup of tea into his mouth.

What happen right now is, if you can ask the person to hold the cup when pour the tea at the mouth that OK. But if you want to can a ‘candid’ picture and that person doesn’t realize that, you need a fast ‘lagging’ time and camera processor here.

The very single moment is the GOLDEN moment I’m talking about. I’m sure all of you do came across this similar event once in a while.

At the camera shop, this is one of the thing you must remember. Various camera has various ‘lagging’ time. Try for yourself. If the subject that you want to take is a child, you can’t ask her to hold the cup until you capture the picture! You just have to capture that picture instantaneously. This is where ‘lagging’ features is important.

At the end of the day, when you view back this ‘candid’ moment that you be able to captured, I’m sure it will have a deep values in your feeling.
